This Privacy Policy explains how Vital Quantitative Research, LLC ("VitalQuant," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit VitalQuant.com (the "Site") or subscribe to our investment research publications. We keep this simple and specific: this policy describes what we actually do, not generic possibilities.

Who We Are

VitalQuant is an independent publisher of systematic, rules-based investment research and strategy signals for self-directed investors. We are a publisher, not an investment advisor: our research is impersonal and is not tailored to any individual's circumstances. This matters for privacy because it means we have no reason to collect — and do not collect — detailed personal financial profiles, brokerage account credentials, or transaction histories.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

• Account information. When you register for a free trial or paid subscription, we collect your name, email address, and a password. Account creation and login are handled through Outseta, our subscription management platform.
• Billing information. When you purchase a subscription, your payment card details are collected and processed by Stripe, Inc., our payment processor. We use Outseta, our subscription-management platform, to manage your account and billing; card processing itself is handled by Stripe, and we never see or store your full card number. We retain records of your subscription plan, billing history, and transaction status.
• Portfolio size estimate (optional). During registration, we ask for an estimate of the portfolio size you intend to invest in the strategy you subscribe to. This field is optional. We use it solely to monitor strategy capacity and liquidity — by managing the total assets following a given model, we avoid having our subscribers' collective trades move the prices of the stocks our strategies select, which is especially important for small-capitalization strategies. Providing an accurate estimate is in your own interest, but it is never required. This information is never sold, shared with strategy partners or any other party, used for advertising, or used to provide personalized investment advice.
• Communications. If you contact us through our support page or by email, we keep a record of that correspondence so we can respond and improve our service.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data. Like virtually all websites, our hosting platform (Webflow) and subscription platform (Outseta) automatically log standard technical data when you visit: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring page. We use this in aggregate to understand how the Site is used and to keep it secure.
• Cookies. The Site uses cookies that are necessary for core functionality — keeping you logged in, remembering your session, and processing subscriptions. We use Google Analytics for reporting of traffic trends and sources. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent you from logging in or subscribing.

Information we do not collect

We do not purchase demographic data about you from third parties. We do not collect brokerage credentials, account statements, or trading records. We do not use your data to build advertising profiles.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

• Provide your subscription — delivering strategy signals, weekly reports, and account access;
• Process payments and manage billing, renewals, and cancellations;
• Send service communications, such as trade alerts, report notifications, receipts, and account notices;
• Send marketing communications about VitalQuant publications and offers, which you can opt out of at any time (see "Email Communications" below);
• Monitor strategy capacity using aggregate portfolio size estimates;
• Maintain the security and performance of the Site; and
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share information only in these limited circumstances:

• Service providers. We use a small number of vendors to operate the Site and the subscription service: Webflow (website hosting), Outseta (account management, subscription and billing management, email delivery, and customer relationship management), and Stripe, Inc. (payment card processing). These providers process data only on our behalf and under their own contractual and legal privacy obligations.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
• Business transfer. If VitalQuant is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subscriber information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We would notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Email Communications

We send two kinds of email. Service emails — trade signals, weekly reports, receipts, and account notices — are part of the subscription you purchased and are sent for as long as you remain a subscriber. Marketing emails — newsletters, offers, and announcements — are optional; every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and opting out takes effect promptly. Opting out of marketing email does not affect service emails, since those are the product you subscribed to.

Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you cancel or your account becomes inactive, we retain records only as long as needed for legitimate business purposes — such as tax and accounting requirements, resolving disputes, and maintaining accurate financial records — after which they are deleted or anonymized. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time (see "Your Rights" below).

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the Site, reliance on established platforms with strong security practices for hosting and payments, and restricting access to personal data to what is necessary to operate the service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

Your Rights

You can view and update your account information at any time by logging in to your account. In addition, depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you;
• Correct inaccurate information;
• Delete your personal information;
• Receive a copy of your information in a portable format; and
• Opt out of targeted advertising or the sale of personal data — noting that we do not engage in either.

These rights are provided under laws such as the New York Shield Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act, and similar state and international privacy laws. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information below. We will verify your identity before acting on a request and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We will never discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

Children's Privacy

The Site and our publications are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

International Visitors

VitalQuant is operated from the United States, and information we collect is processed and stored in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Third-Party Links

The Site may link to other websites, including social media platforms and data providers. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and this policy does not apply to them. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will notify active subscribers by email. Your continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
